个人简介
My PhD project focused on hydrothermally etched titanium for the mitigation of implant-associated infection. During my PhD I investigated the interface between microbial pathogens and bactericidal nanostructures - in particular how microbes respond to the hostile conditions on the surface.
My post-doctoral focus has shifted toward rationally designed, nanoengineered biomaterials to maximize the efficacy of antimicrobial compounds (including antibiotics and quaternary ammonium compounds).
