Andrés Lorenzo-Bleda received the B.Sc. degree in telecommunications engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Valencia, Spain, in 2009, and the M.Sc. degree in new technologies on computer science from Murcia University, Murcia, Spain, in 2012. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in information and communication technologies with the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, Cartagena, Spain. He is currently a Project Engineer with the Department of Electronics and Home Automation, Technologic Centre of Furniture, Murcia. He is the coauthor of more than 15 international technical papers and contributions in the fields of wireless sensor networks, ubiquitous computing for ambient-assisted living, and Internet of Things purposes, and he has eight active patents.
