Andreia T Marques

Andreia Marques has a PhD degree in Veterinary and Animal Science at Università Degli Studi di Milano (UNIMI). The thesis "Molecular Biomarkers of Welfare in Poultry" was discussed in April 2017, under supervision of Dr. Fabrizio Ceciliani (UNIMI). The focus of her research is the study of innate immunity and the identification of biomarkers usefull in veterinary medicine field (i.e. acute phase proteins and miRNAs). In 2013, she won two COST Action Grants: COST Action FA1002: Farm Animal Proteomics Grant for a Short-Term Scientific Mission to the Dipartimento di Scienze Veterinarie e Sanità Pubblica, Università Degli Studi di Milano, Italy and COST Action TD1101: A Collaborative European Network on Rabbit Genome Biology (RGB-Net) Grant for a Short-Term Scientific Mission to the Slovak University of Agriculture, Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences, Nitra, Slovakia.
