Andreia S. P. Sousa

Graduated in Physiotherapy by the School of Health (ESS-P.Porto) in 2006, Andreia S. P. Sousa obtained his M.Sc. in 2009 and his Ph.D. in 2013 in Biomedical Engineering in the field of Biomechanics of Human Gait and in Biomechanical Analysis of Movement and Postural Control Areas, respectively, by the University of Porto. She has been Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy of ESS-P. Porto, since 2007 and, currently, is also a member of the directive board of the Center for Rehabilitation Research (CIR). Her main research areas include human movement, biomechanics and postural control, addressed especially in the domain of rehabilitation sciences.
