Dr.Groll’s major research interests include infectious complications in the immunocompro-mised host, particularly invasive fungal infections and respiratory viral infections, the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of antimicrobial agents, and the design and conduct of clinical research studies. Dr. Groll is an active member of several national and international medical societies, on the editorial board of several international journals and has published more than 200 PubMed listed scientific articles thus far. He is regularly engaged in patient care as Attending Physician of the inpatient and outpatient service and the haematopoietic stem cell transplant program.
