Andreas Blenk received the Doktor-Ingenieur degree (Highest Distinction of summa cum laude) from the Technical University of Munich in May 2018. He is a Research Scientist with Siemens AG, where he has been a part of the Industrial Networks and Wireless Group (T CED INW-DE) since April 2022. In his current role, he is focused on the automation, measurement, and validation of industrial networks, and is involved in defining and writing blueprints for the Siemens AG networking portfolio. Prior to joining Siemens AG, he was a member of the Chair of Communication Networks, led by Prof. W. Kellerer, with TUM beginning in June 2012. From 2018 to 2022, he continued his work with TUM as a Postdoctoral Fellow, further honing his expertise in the field of communication networks. During this time, he also served as a Senior Research Fellow with the Communication Technologies Group within the Faculty of Computer Science, University of Vienna from March 2019 to January 2022.
