Ana Rita Mateus

I’m a Master in Food Safety by the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Coimbra (FFUC), Portugal. Currently, I am a PhD student in Pharmaceutical Sciences, specifically Food Science. My research work is carried out during a fellowship at the National Institute of Agrarian and Veterinary Research (INIAV), Portugal, being part of the VALICET project. This project works with food by products, and aims to develop new food products and/or active food packaging, in the circular economy concept
