Research interests:
Applied microbiology, biodegradation of various polycyclic aromatic compounds, n-alkanes, crude oil as a complex mixture of hydrocarbons, and phenols by Pseudomonas aeruginosa san ai; Analytical methods for determining the degree of biotransformation of organic pollutants; Investigation of metabolic pathway and products of metabolism using ecoproteomics; Enzyme purification / enzyme assays; Analysis of the mechanisms of the organism's response to the pollutant using a multi-omics approach (combination of genomic, proteomic and metabolomic analysis) for a comprehensive understanding of the biodegradation pathway; Identification of potential new biomarker compounds.
