I am a biologist who transitioned from biotechnology and biomedicine to urban ecology through the captivating fields of ecophysiology and ecotoxicology.
I am intrigued by the biochemical and physiological changes that environmental stressors, such as air pollution or novel food resources, induce in urban birds. Additionally, I am fascinated by the mechanisms urban birds develop to adapt and thrive within urban environments.
