个人简介
Amir Shahirinia (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the K.N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2002 and 2005, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 2014. Following his doctoral studies, he conducted postdoctoral research with the Power Electronics Group, Rockwell Automation (Allen Bradly) from 2014 to 2016. He is currently an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering with the University of the District of Columbia, Washington, DC, USA, where he serves as the Director of the Smart Grids and Artificial Intelligence Lab and the Center of Excellence for Renewable Energy. His research expertise spans power electronics, motor drives, power systems, optimal planning and operation of renewable energy grid integration systems (REGIS), intelligent real-time control of REGIS, artificial intelligence applications in smart grids, data science, and Bayesian statistics.
