My current research interest is on drug-drug, drug-herb and herb-herb interactions, focusing on exploring synergism in treating various chronic disease conditions and drug-resistant microbial infections afflicting humans. I use standard models (Bliss and Loewe additivity) to analyse the data. I am currently working on the efficacy of drug-drug, drug-herb and herb-herb combinations using animal models of diabetes and ATCC strains of resistant bacteria.
