个人简介
Ali Özbek received the bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering and information technology from the Technical University of Munich, Germany. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Department of Information Technologies and Electrical Engineering, ETH Zurich, Switzerland. In his bachelor’s thesis, he worked on developing a GPU-based fast reconstruction method which allowed up to two orders of magnitude faster reconstruction of 3-D optoacoustic tomography. During his master’s thesis, he developed a noise robust genetic optimization algorithm that was able to focus the light through a scattering medium by using optoacoustic signal as feedback. He is currently tackling the problem of ultrafast optoacoustic image acquisition and compressed sensing with applications in cardiac and brain imaging fields as a part of his Ph.D. thesis.
