Alfonso Bahillo

Alfonso Bahillo received the B.Sc. degree in telecommunications engineering and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Valladolid, Valladolid, Spain, in 2006 and 2010, respectively. From 2006 to 2010, he was a Research Engineer with CEDETEL. From 2006 to 2011, he was an Assistant Professor with the University of Valladolid. From 2013 to 2017, he held a postdoctoral position with DeustoTech-Fundacion Deusto, University of Deusto, Bilbao, Spain, where he was the Director from 2017 to 2020. He is currently an Associate Professor with the University of Valladolid. He has worked (leading some of them) on more than 25 regional, national, and international research projects and contracts. He has coauthored more than 35 research articles, published in international journals, published more than 40 communications in international conferences, and obtained four national patents. His interests include local and global positioning techniques, ambient assisted living, biomedical and health informatics, and wireless networking. Dr. Bahillo received the PMP Certification with PMI in 2014.
