Alessandro Filippeschi is a Co-Founder and works in the area of Product Development of Wearable Robotics S.r.l. He is an Affiliate Professional with Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (SSSA). He has been the Coordinator of the national project Sailport, aimed at the automatic evaluation of the biomechanical overload risk by using wearable sensor networks. He has participated in the EU projects SKILLS, ReMeDi, and RAMCIP. He is the author of more than 50 papers on international journals and peer-reviewed conferences. His research interests include the capture and analysis of human motion, estimation of the ergonomic risks, and the development of exoskeletons and haptic interfaces for human–robot interaction.
