Alejandro J. Paredes graduated s a Pharmacist in 2011, and as a PhD in 2016 from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina, where he also was a Teacher of pharmaceutical sciences for 7 years. As a postdoctoral researcher, he visited the University of the Basque Country (Spain), the University of Pavia (Italy) and worked at Queen's University Belfast in the UK, being involved within leading groups in gene therapy, wound healing, and microneedles, respectively. Dr Paredes is currently a Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Queen’s University Belfast, where he focuses on the development of precisely engineered nanocrystals for tissue targeting.
