个人简介
Akihide Kamei (M'11) was born in Osaka, Japan, on October 31, 1972. He received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in planetary sciences from Kobe University, Kobe, Japan, in 1995, 1997, and 2000, respectively.
From 1999 to 2001, he was a Research Fellow with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow in atmospheric science with the Communications Research Laboratory (currently the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology), Koganei, Japan, from 2001 to 2004, the National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES), Tsukuba, Japan, from 2004 to 2006. From 2006 to 2011, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in remote sensing science with the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Tsukuba, Japan, where he worked on calibration and validation of optical sensors onboard Earth observation satellites. Since 2011, he has been a Postdoctoral Fellow in remote sensing science with the NIES, where he has worked on investigation of Greenhouse Gases Observing Satellite-2 mission, which will be launched in 2016.
Dr. Kamei is a Member of the Remote Sensing Society of Japan and the Meteorological Society of Japan.
