Akbar received his Ph. D. degree in physical chemistry from Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran, in 2016 with a sabbatical research in theoretical and computational chemistry at the University of Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain (Supervisor: Prof. Stefan T. Bromley). He joined as an assistant professor at the University of Isfahan, Isfahan, Iran in 2020 where he is still working. His research interest mainly focuses on the computational modeling of materials and nanostructures
