Ahmed Omran received the Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Munich, Munich, Germany. He was a Postdoc with Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA, doing research on experimental quantum simulation platforms. He then joined Google Research, as an AI Resident, where his current research interest focuses on applying representation learning to enable better audio synthesis and compression.
