Bialek Agnieszka

Agnieszka Bialek received the M.Sc. degree in technical physics from Wrocław University of Technology, Wrocław, Poland, in 2003. Since 2012, she has been working toward the part-time Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at the University of Surrey, Guildford, U.K., with the aim to establish SI traceability for satellite derived optical images, land and ocean, using vicarious calibration methodologies. Since 2006, she has been with the National Physical Laboratory, Teddington, U.K. Her scientific experience is related to optical measurements including absolute radiometric calibration and instruments characterization as well as data modeling. Her current research interest includes uncertainty reduction in earth observation by implementation of rigorous SI traceability.
