Adi Pancoro

Adi Pancoro received the degree from the Department of Biology, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Indonesia, in 1985, and the Ph.D. degree in molecular genetics from the Department of Genetics and Biochemistry, Newcastle University, England, U.K., in 1992, with dissertation title of “In-Situ localization of cyanogenic beta-glucosidase (linamarase) gene expression in leaves of cassava using non-isotopic riboprobes.” He has been a Lecturer with the School of Life Sciences and Technology, Bandung Institute of Technology, since 1987. From 2007 to 2011, he was the Head of the Biotechnology Research Center, ITB, and the Research Reviewer Team, Kemenristek Indonesia, from 2006 to 2019. He was a member of the National Research Council, Indonesia, from 2006 to 2012. Since 2013, he has been an Advisor of molecular breeding at PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk. His research interest includes molecular genetics.
