个人简介
My research focus is on the use of beneficial microorganisms for the advancement of sustainable land use and agricultural production. I carry out demand driven researches targeted at sustainable agricultural practices, development of new technologies for improved soil fertility, crop production and livelihoods. My research areas include investigations on beneficial soil microorganisms such as Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR), effect of various soil management strategies on soil fertility and development of sustainable soil management strategies using microbial technologies. My research aims to address soil fertility and crop production issues faced by farmers by developing and deploying effective soil management technologies such as bio-fortified compost and biofertilisers as sustainable alternatives to harmful agrochemicals.
