Abubakar Sharif received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in electronics engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Huzhou, China, in 2019. From 2011 to 2016, he worked as a Lecturer with Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF), Faisalabad, Pakistan. He is also working as a Research Fellow with UESTC. He is the author of several peer-reviewed international journals and conference papers. His research interests include wearable and flexible sensors, compact antenna design, antenna interaction with the human body, antenna and system design for radio frequency identification (RFID), phased array antennas, passive wireless sensing, and the Internet of Things (IoTs).
