Abeer N. Al-Nafjan received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from King Saud University (KSU). She is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science, Al-Imam Mohammed Ibn Saud Islamic University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She is also a Co-Founder with the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Design Laboratory. Her research interests include affective computing with special interests in assistive technology and brain–computer interfaces, designing interactive software systems to support people with disabilities in education and communication, and rehabilitation and therapy programs.
