A. Abdelghani

Ahmed Abdelghani has a MSc in Mechanical Engineering from NC State University (to graduate in April 2021), a bachelor in Mechanical Design Engineering from Cairo University (2014), and he is a Fulbright scholar awarded the Fulbright foreign student program grant. Between 2016-2019 Ahmed worked in the research and development team of the multinational and Swedish home appliances manufacturer; Electrolux. His work contributed to the design and development of home appliances products for better quality, manufacturability, cost competitiveness, and sustainability potential. Ahmed's research focuses on understanding the ramifications of the new technologies of Industry 4.0 on our social and economic development while optimizing their integration into manufacturing organizations. His research aims at identifying correlations that exist between performance objectives when navigating the intersection of additive manufacturing, part consolidation, topology optimization, and change management.
