Alipour Abbas

Abbas Hamouleh Alipour received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Islamic Azad University, Branch of Shushtar, Shushtar, Iran, in 2012, and the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from Lorestan University, Khorramabad, Iran, in 2016 and 2020, respectively. He joined the Engineering Department, MIS Petrochemical Industrial Company, Masjed-e-Soleyman, Khuzestan, Iran, as a Chief Instrumentation Engineer, in 2019, where he is the Research and Development (R&D) Manager. He was a Research Assistant with Lorestan University, from 2020 to 2023, where he mentored several B.Sc. theses and three M.Sc. theses. He has authored or coauthored 23 peer-reviewed journal articles and 12 conference papers. His research interests include optical communication systems, design of optical networks, design of microwave devices include microwave low-pass and bandpass filters, and plasmonic, metamaterials, and noninvasive biosensor for biomedical application, quantum computing, and optical sensors. Dr. Alipour received the Excellent Student Award from Lorestan province and Lorestan University in 2017, 2019, and 2020.
