Aasa Feragen received the PhD degree in mathematics from the University of Helsinki (2010) and since then has been a post doc and later associate professor at the DIKU University of Copenhagen. From 2012 to 2014, she was a post doc in the Machine Learning and Computational Biology Research Group, Max Planck institute for Developmental Biology and Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, Tübingen, Germany. Her research is on geometric modeling for imaging and vision.
