A Yu Berezantsev

Professor Andrey Berezantsev was born March 6, 1959 in Leningrad. Berezantsev A.Yu. entered the Leningrad sanitary-hygienic medical Institute in 1976, from which he graduated in 1982 with a qualification of a doctor. In 1982 - 1983 he studied psychiatry based psychiatric hospital. Later he worked as a psychiatrist in various areas. In 1988 - 1991 he studied in graduate school at the Serbsky center of General and forensic psychiatry. Since 1994 Berezantsev A.Yu. works as an assistant Professor, and since 2003 Professor at the Department of social and forensic psychiatry of the Sechenov First Moscow Medical Institute. In 2001 he defended his doctoral thesis on "Psychosomatic and somatoform disorders in the practice of forensic psychiatry" which has received many high reviews in the psychiatric community. After defending his doctoral dissertation he comes flowering of his creativity. Under the guidance of Berezantsev protected 9 Ph. D. thesis, he is the author of over 200 scientific works in leading scientific journals, the sole author of a textbook on forensic psychiatry. Berezantsev A.Yu. - a specialist of the highest class in clinical psychiatry, psychotherapy, forensic psychiatry.
