Anne Replumaz

Anne Replumaz currently works at the ISTerre, University of Grenoble, France. Anne is a specialist of the India-Asia collision, with a wide skill of expertises. She studies the tectonics of Tibet using satellite images mapping, field work mapping, low and high thermochronologic datations to quantify the period of activity and amount of exhumation of the main faults of Tibet. She also studies the boundary forces of the collision, making numerical and analogue models of the continental subduction of both the Indian and Asian lithospheres, and making tectonics reconstructions of the deformations generated by the collision at the scale of the entire collision zone.
