Bio

Alfredo Ortiz Fernández was born in Santander, Spain in 1971. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in industrial engineering from the University of Cantabria (UC), Spain, in 1997 and 2005, respectively. He is currently a Professor with the Electrical and Energy Engineering Department, UC. He has published six chapters in international books, more than 50 papers in international conferences, and more than 40 articles in journals that are included in the Journal of Citation Report. His research interest includes the study of alternative dielectric liquids in power transformers.
