A. Kraus

Mr. Alexander Kraus was appointed the position of Assistant Vice President for Electric Mobility (e-Mobility), TÜV SÜD in 2009. He is responsible for Global Marketing and Sales as well as Business Development of e-Mobility activities in Asia. Kraus began his career with TÜV SÜD in 2004 as a Project Engineer in the Comfort & Vehicles Dynamics Business Segment in TÜV SÜD Automotive. In 2005, he became the Product Manager for TÜV Tire Temperature Method $({\rm T}^{3}{\rm M}$©), a unique and patented method developed by TÜV SÜD to measure real-time temperature measurements inside the tire structure. Within the first year, the product witnessed a revenue growth of EUR 750,000. In 2008, Kraus took up the role as the Functional Account Manager and the role as a Director of Strategic Business Development, Japan. During the two years in position, he successfully implemented sales processes and generated revenue of EUR 12 million. In 2009, Kraus was also selected to be part of TÜV SÜD JUMP!, an international program for the development of high potentials. Kraus received his Master's Degree in Automotive Engineering from the Munich University of Applied Sciences, Germany in 2003. He spends his free time with his family and enjoys cooking. An avid sports person, Kraus also enjoys mountain biking, swimming and jogging as they assist him in overcoming challenges.
