个人简介
Andrei Gorodetsky received the Ph.D. and Dr.Sc. degrees in optics and photonics from ITMO University, St. Petersburg, Russia, in 2010 and 2020, respectively. In 2010 and 2011, he was an Assistant Professor of photonics with ITMO University. From 2011 to 2013, he was a Researcher with the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser, Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas, Greece, where he was engaged in THz metamaterial research and controlled THz generation in two-colour plasma filaments. From 2014 to 2016, he worked on the development of compact room temperature THz transceivers at Aston University, Birmingham, U.K., from 2016 to 2017, he was developing compact THz electron accelerators with Lancaster University, Lancaster, U.K. From 2017 to 2019, he was with Imperial College London, London, U.K., and implemented multipulse ultrafast spectroscopic setups for direct carrier mobility assessment. From 2016 to 2020, he was a Senior Research Fellow with ITMO University, remotely working on hyprid photoconductive antennas ans hybrid optical-THz metamaterials. He is currently a Senior Research Fellow with the School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Birmingham, Birmingham. His research interests include development of semiconductor room temperature operating THz trasceivers, THz computational imaging, multipulse pump-push-probe THz studies, and tunable THz metamaterials and metasurfaces.
