My research activities are on condensed matter physics. The main focus is the use of optical techniques (Raman and infrared spectroscopy and electronic microscopies) and theoretical tools (electronic structure calculations) for investigating phenomena at nanomaterials. My current interest is vibrational and electronic properties of one dimensional (carbon chains) materials and two-dimensional materials (graphene, TMDs).
