Aref, A.F.

Ahmed Farouk Aref received the Ph.D. (summa cum laude) degree in electrical engineering from RWTH Aachen University. From 2004 to 2006, he was an RFIC Design Engineer with SysDSoft Inc., Cairo, Egypt. From 2006 to 2007, he joined LSI Inc., Dubai, UAE, where he was an Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer with the Consumer Electronics Group. From 2007 to 2009, he joined Qimonda AG, Munich, Germany. He designed high speed embedded clock generators for graphics memories. His research interests are highly efficient power amplifiers, advanced transmitter architectures, reconfigurable radio, high-speed clock generators, and clock data recovery circuits.
