where he has led the Industrial Photonics group (formerly Laser Source Laboratory) for over 20 years, initially with Lab founder Prof. Giancarlo Reali. His professional interests are in the field of DPSSL and FL (especially ultrafast sources) and application of nonlinear optics to laser technology. His contribution to these research fields are documented by more than 220 papers on technical journals, conference proceedings, 6 book chapters and 2 patents. In 1998 he helped start Bright Solutions S.r.l., a spin-off bringing together highly qualified professional skills in the field of industrial and scientific laser technology.
