个人简介
Dr. Hayat is currently a research associate with the Engineering Product Development Pillar at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). He is leading the design teams towards developing self reconfigurable robots in the project "Ermine: A Self-Reconfigurable Class of Maintenance Robots". He received his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. His doctoral research is in the domain of Identification of Kinematic and Dynamic parameters associated with industrial robots experimentally. He assisted the research organizations and companies like CMERI Durgapur and TATA robotics Pune to identify the kinematic parameters of robots developed by them. He has published over 35 scientific papers, and two design patents. He is the lead author in a recently published book titled “Vision Based Identification and Force Control of Industrial Robots”. He also received best paper and poster awards at international conferences. His research interest includes Kinematic identification, calibration, dynamics, and reconfigurable robotics.
