A. A. Andreev

Anatoliy A. Andreev was born in Ukraine, on January 25, 1939. He received the degree in physics from the Politechnical Institute of Kharkov, Kharkov, Ukraine, in 1962 and the Ph.D. degree from the Kharkov Institute of Physics and Technology, Kharkov, Ukraine, in 1979. Since 1967, he has been Kharkov Institute of Physics and Technology, Kharkov, Ukraine. He is one of the main authors of the plant “Bulat,” which was transferred to the firm “Multi Arc Vacuum Systems” according to the state license in 1980. His interests extend to vacuum arc plasma sources, arc coatings, and nitriding.
