Jefté Peper-Nascimento

Degree in Biological Sciences (2019) and Master in Health Sciences (2021) from the University of Extremo Sul Catarinense (UNESC). I am currently a Ph.D. student in the Graduate Program in Health Sciences at UNESC under Dr. Samira Valvassori at the Laboratory of Translational Psychiatry. Additionally, is a volunteer researcher at the Laboratory of Applied Research in Computing and Quantitative Methods under the supervision of Dr. Kristian Madeira.Works in the following areas: experimental and clinical research of bipolar disorder, and analysis of biomedical data. Between 2020 and 2021, I collaborated with international studies that investigated the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on mental health and suicidal phenomenal, in the lens of the Narrative-Crisis Model of Suicide.
