Martin Möddel

Martin Möddel studied physics at Leipzig University, Leipzig, Germany. He received the Diploma degree in 2011 with a focus on the costratified Hilbert space structure of a lattice gauge model with semi-simple gauge group. From 2011 to 2014, he conducted research at the University of Siegen, Siegen, Germany, on multi-particle entanglement in quantum mechanics and received the Ph.D. degree with his thesis on characterizing quantum correlations: the genuine multiparticle negativity as entanglement monotone. Since 2015, he has been holding a post-doctoral position at the Institute for Biomedical Imaging, University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, Hamburg, Germany, and the Hamburg University of Technology, Hamburg, where his research focuses on the imaging modality magnetic particle imaging. The content of his work is concerned with issues of multi-contrast imaging, image reconstruction, and signal processing.
