Shilin Chen

Shilin Chen received the master's degree in surgery from Air Force Medical University, Xi’an, China, and the PhD degree in cardiothoracic surgery from Naval Medical University, Shanghai, China. He is a chief physician with the Department of Thoracic Surgery, Jiangsu Cancer Hospital, Nanjing, China. His research has been published in more than 60 original papers and has been presented at leading international conferences. His main research interests are basic and applied research on normal and cancer stem cells and analysis of senescence processes that affect stem cell properties.
