个人简介
My research focuses on biological wastewater treatment processes, including aerobic and anaerobic systems, fixed film and suspended growth processes, and nutrient (nitrogen and phosphorus) removal. I have also led research in water treatment processes and water reuse and recycling. Current and recent projects include nitrogen transformations, novel fixed film bioreactors and industrial effluent treatment. I have previously worked on activated sludge processes, algal systems for wastewater treatment, biological aerated filters and package sewage treatment plant.
I currently co-supervise a PhD student developing biomineralistion for nutrient recovery from waste streams and support a Knowledge Transfer Project (KTP) on novel plastic media for biological wastewater treatment.
