Research interests
Professor Meikle's research aims to develop advanced imaging methods that are quantitatively accurate and reproducible and that help elucidate the molecular mechanisms regulating brain function in health and disease. The non-invasive imaging techniques he uses in his research are positron emission tomography (PET) and single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) which are based on the radiotracer principle.
