General research interests are the control techniques for networks and communication systems, including resource allocation, scheduling, multiple access, consensus, synchronization/desynchronization, information dissemination/dynamics, and self-organization/healing/resilience with facilitations of optimization, statistical mechanics, network theory, economics (including game theory and auction theory), information theory, and graph theory. Recently, focuses are particularly on
Configurable Networks (mobile edge cache, fog/edge network, mobile edge computing, cloud network, network slicing, open network stacks)
Cyber-physical systems (machine-type/machine-to-machine communications, smart grid networks, intelligent transportation network, robot/unmanned vehicular networks)
5G/6G communication networks (New Radio Technologies, Licensed-Assisted Access, mmWave communications, non-orthogonal multiple access)
