Piyush Choudhary (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Tech. degree in electrical engineering (with Hons.) from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, India, and the Ph.D. degree in environmental sustainability from Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi, Varanasi, India. He is currently a Deputy General Manager (Electrical) with the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, under Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, New Delhi, India. He has more than 21+ years of multifunctional industrial experience in Indian Oil and Gas sector. He has authored/coauthored in Journal of Business Research, Business Strategy and the Environment, Journal of Cleaner Production, Energy Strategy Reviews, PLoS One, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, Transport Policy, IEEE Xplore, and other reputed journals and conferences. His skills and specialties include project management/engineering in oil sector, carbon management and sustainable development, research and development activities on low carbon initiatives, corporate social responsibilities, environmental protection, conceptualization on renewable energy and their implementation. He had several research associations with global repute agencies/government and universities, multilateral government assignment and policies. Besides core electrical engineering exposure, he has been looking vigilance functionary and taking preventive and punitive measures in organizational.
