个人简介
My scientific interest falls broadly in geodynamics, petrology, geochemistry, and the relevant scientific computing. Utilizing computational fluid dynamics, computational thermodynamics, and their coupling, my current research focuses on: the physics of porous fluid or melt migration in the lower crust and mantle, the chemical interactions along fluid or melt pathways, the associated volatile (especially CO2 and H2O) fluxes between Earth’s surface and interior, and the outgassing of rocky exoplanets. The grand question my research strives to address is: how do the planet surface and interior communicate energy and volatiles, given their crucial importance in planetary habitability?
