个人简介
Mark Wehde received the MS and MBA degrees. He is the Section Head of Technology Development within the Mayo Clinic Division of Engineering, Rochester, MN, USA, an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering with the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, Rochester, MN, USA, and an Associate Lecturer with the University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI, USA MBA Consortium program. His team develops custom medical and research devices. His responsibilities include strategic planning, innovation, process improvement, project evaluation, collaboration, intellectual property, and technology investigation.
He has a faculty position in the Mayo Clinic Quality Academy, Office of Leadership and Organizational Development, and Biomedical Engineering and Physiology Graduate School. He is a juror for the Medical Design Excellence Awards, the R&D 100 Awards, and the Edison Awards. He is also a technical committee member for the IEEE International Symposium on Medical Measurements and Applications, vice-chair of the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society Leadership and Management of People and Organizations Technical Activity Committee, and an affiliate for the University of Minnesota Medical Industry Leadership Institute.
