个人简介
David Giuliano received the bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY, USA, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA, USA.
He is currently the Principal Scientist with pSemi Corporation (a Murata Company), San Diego, CA, USA. In this role, he pursues research in numerous power-conversion-related fields, provides technical due diligence, and actively participates in IP generation and patent prosecution. He founded Arctic Sand Technologies, a company based upon technology he developed during his Ph.D. program with MIT. Arctic Sand was acquired by pSemi Corporation in 2017. At MIT and Arctic Sand, he acquired extensive knowledge on the various methods of converting electric power and continually pushed the boundaries of power converter efficiency and size to meet the needs of today’s high-tech economy. He holds a total of 77 issued patents with numerous pending patent applications within the U.S. and abroad. His current research interests include power conversion architectures, IC process technologies, advanced components, and packaging.
