个人简介
Daniel Tobin is an Assistant Professor of Community Development and Applied Economics, graduate faculty in the Food Systems program, and a fellow of the Gund Institute for Environment at the University of Vermont. His research focuses on how small farmers pursue sustainable livelihoods and respond to external forces across geographic contexts including the Northeastern United States, Mexico, Peru, and East Africa. Specific interests include the social values embedded in seed and crop choice, dynamics of social inclusion and gender equity in value chain development, and relationships between on-farm diversification and household food and nutrition security.
