He subsequently joined IBM with the Thomas J. Watson Research Center, where he has worked on high-speed VCSEL characterization, multimode fiber links, parallel fiber optic packaging, and co-packaging research. Dr. Kuchta is an authored coauthored more than 145 technical papers and Inventor/Co-Inventor of at least 25 patents.
