Chris has worked on research and product development in the areas of 3G, 4G, 5G, Docsis 3.1 cable access networks, and digital front-end technology for cellular systems, long-instruction word processor architectures, and compilers for signal processing and machine learning.
His research interests are in the areas of 5G/6G, hardware architectures for machine learning, GPU architecture, programming models for machine learning accelerators, software defined radio (SDR), forward error correction, modem design, FPGA signal processing, wireless systems, massive MIMO, hardware architectures for real-time signal processing, fast algorithms, multirate filters, DSP design flows and programming models for reconfigurable hardware.
