个人简介
Babak Olyaeefar was born in Tabriz, Iran in 1984. He received the B.Sc. degree in atomic and molecular physics from the Physics Department, University of Tabriz, Iran, in 2008, the M.Sc. degree from the Research Institute for Applied Physics and Astronomy (RIAPA), University of Tabriz, Iran, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree from RIAPA, University of Tabriz, in 2015. He continued his studies by a thesis on the liquid crystal-based electro-optical modulators. This was followed by a Ph.D. dissertation on the low-loss ultra-sub-wavelength plasmonic waveguides for telecommunication application.
Since 2015, he has received two fellowships on the modeling of perovskite solar cells and fabrication of inverse-opal sensors. His research expertise covers liquid crystals, plasmonics, ghost-imaging, inverse-opals, perovskite solar cells and luminescent solar concentrators. He is currently a Research Fellow with the Photonics Group, Research Institute for Applied Physics and Astronomy, University of Tabriz, Tabriz, Iran.
